Dr. Taryn Kirsch (Procter & Gamble) presents CosPaTox at the MARII Summit on Microplastics

The 2025 MARII Summit on Microplastics took place from 15–17 October 2025 in Madrid, Spain, bringing together leading professionals from the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA) Microplastics Advanced Research and Innovation Initiative (MARII) network. Participants included experts from academia, research institutions, industry, and government, as well as regulatory scientists involved in the assessment of microplastics and plastic additives.

Dr. Taryn Kirsch, Director at Procter & Gamble, presented the CosPaTox Safety Evaluation Guidance for the Use of Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) Plastics in Cosmetic and Detergent Packaging. Her presentation highlighted the scientific and regulatory principles underpinning the safe use of PCR materials in consumer product packaging.
