Membership

CosPaTox Consortium counts 39 major European brand owners of the cosmetic industry, hygiene and detergents & cleaning agent sector, committed recycling companies, plastic manufacturers and plastic convertors.

We work according to strict compliance, IP and anti-trust rules and have set up a comprehensive Consortium Agreement.

Core membership requires a high level of competence in the areas of toxicology as well as the production and processing of plastic recyclates to enrich the working packages. Supportive membership is a welcomed option, too.

As a Member of CosPaTox, you

• actively contribute to the development of standardized test methods, quality control procedures and a defined toxicological risk assessment approach for post-consumer recycled material for household, cosmetic and hygiene applications setting new industry standards to increase the use of PCR plastic materials in consumer packaging in line with the EU Action Plan for a circular economy.
